Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have their unique way of learning and they always try their best to achieve their goals. Each one of my students has their specific goal that they strive to accomplish. These materials will help my students because they give them the opportunity to be hands-on. My students need sensory activities to help facilitate their learning disability through exploration. For example, the touch reading word phonics helps students be able to touch each individual sound and be able to blend together. The number linr will help my students stay on task and remember what answer they got by moving the slider. Lastly, my students have a hard time expressing their feelings and the social emotional prompts will help them really think about their emotions and be able to express them through their writing. I have done an extensive amount of research on how to help each one of my individual students and these manipulatives will have positive outcomes for my students' learning experience.
