This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With our ever-learning brains, and approaching the end of kindergarten soon, we still have lots of learning to do to be ready for first grade. I am asking for a class set of headphones that my kids can use with their iPads. Even though we had some donated by parents, and others provided by the school, the daily use has worn them out. With a class of 25 kids, now I have at least two kids without headphones.

The use of these headphones is very helpful because the students have individualized learning lessons on their iPads.

The headphones help reduce distractions from other iPads and students. Now more than ever, the use of headphones is important. Now the kids are focused and have a better understanding of how to answer questions, so using headphones allows them to improve their learning and move forward in their targeted lessons.

With the flexible stools, I want my students that need movement to have that flexibility of choice. I have noticed this year that not all kindergarteners care for or want a choice in their seating. However, those who are constantly moving tend to focus better when they are able to move within their seat.

The use of headphones and stools will greatly support my class this school year, and your support will definitely be appreciated.
