This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students at our school in the Structured English Immersion program will be taking the Arizona English Language Learner Assessment in the spring. AZELLA assesses their listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills in the English Language. To help them prepare, we need headphones for their classes with microphones as well as materials to help them practice. Every day, they show dedication to learning and applying the English language.
By utilizing small group instruction, our team of teachers has the intention of providing targeted practice catered to what each student needs.
In order to do this, we need materials that will help make this opportunity for differentiation more successful.
