Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom has some Spanish books but as I say, it can never hurt to have more options of Spanish books for our students. Spanish books help students build vocabulary, improve reading comprehension, and strengthen their overall language skills.

These Spanish books will make a difference by creating a more inclusive classroom environment where all my students feel represented.

Spanish books serve as tools for dual-language learners to practice reading in both languages and make connections between the two. Furthermore, exposure to literature in Spanish will broaden my students' cultural understanding, fostering empathy and global awareness.

My goals for this project is centered around enhancing language proficiency, promoting diversity, and supporting bilingual or multilingual learning. With more Spanish books, I aim to develop well-rounded students who are not only proficient in reading but also capable of appreciating different cultures, languages, and perspectives.
