Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing. It is so fun to see them grow so much throughout the year.

To create a spark and develop their inquisitive minds helps shape their entire future with a passion to learn.

The materials in this project are a mixture of classroom management tools, items for science discovery and lab supplies to complete inquiry hands-on activities on physics, earth systems, and biology. Specifically, the rock samples allow students to see the difference between metamorphic igneous and sedimentary rocks. The perpetual motion toy allows students to visualize Newton's Laws of Motion. The classroom grouping sticks allow for random cold calls as well as color and number groupings.

I have found that my science students learn so much better when they can use a variety of modalities. These materials will last for many years.
