My students need sports balls, hoola hoops, croquet set and sports goals to promote physical education and health.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Cleek's classroom raised $548

My Students
What's more fun than playing ball? In Pre-K we literally "Have a Ball" everyday, problem is we are out of balls!
This project will fund equipment for 180+ children.
It will be shared among 9 Pre-K classes in a public school in Georgia. These students are 4 and 5 years old and are the only students in the school system who do not have an organized "PE" class available to them. This will help us teachers promote physical education and health.
My Project
We have a very diverse group of students, and with that diversity comes a love of many different types of games. In the past we have used balls mainly for rolling, throwing, and catching. The students we have now are very interested in basketball and soccer. These materials will not only help us teach health, but social skills such as fairness and sportsmanship.
I am requesting 5 soccer balls, 5 kick balls, 5 basketballs, 1 croquet set, and 1 set of soccer goals, and 1 portable basketball hoop. With these materials we will be able to play soccer and basketball every day on the playground. We will be able to use the kick balls to learn to play kickball and practice tossing and catching. We will also practice hand eye coordination by learning to play croquet.
At one time, we had a few balls, but over the years they have been damaged or just disappeared.
Please help us refill and upgrade our supply. Thank you for helping us take care of our bodies and learn to play together!
