Help me give my students supplies to create an indoor garden, such as soil, seeds, and even after school gardening club supplies! Students will be able to learn sustainability processes for growing their own food!
With this project, my students will be able to start an after school gardening club to learn the process of planting seeds, see them through the growth cycle, and produce fresh vegetables, and ultimately eating them in the end.
Our goal is to grow our own food at school, learning the process so that students will feel confident in taking this practice into their home lives.
We are ordering seed packets with vegetables, hoping to give students a chance to have fresh vegetables for a healthy diet.
This project will be very special, knowing that many students will never have an opportunity to grow their own food from seeds. We are ordering a book for guidance, materials to make posters for our gardening club, and supplies for the actual growth process.
