Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students did not attend preschool and missed out on a lot of fun activities that children experience at this age such as seeing how a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly. This spring, I would love to plant flowers in our school's garden and see butterflies and ladybugs come to life in our classroom. We are excited to grow some flowers that will bring more butterflies into our garden but we need ladybugs, caterpillars, and peat pots.

They will learn about the life cycles of flowers and butterflies and I am excited to bring this experience to life for them.

They will learn how to care for their flowers and what animals and flowers need. Spring is in the air and this is a great way to learn outside of the classroom.
