My Project

Who doesn't love the millions of creative possibilities that a bucket full of LEGO holds? My bright and shining third grade thinkers are no different. I want to be able to provide them with opportunities to let their creativeness flow by providing them with LEGO bricks to use for building and problem solving.

The uses for LEGO within my classroom are endless.

They easily lend way to STEM by providing an opportunity for students to be given a task or scenario and using the LEGO to plan, build, and problem solve. Additionally, LEGO provide a means for math when learning basic multiplication facts and concepts of area and perimeter.

My third graders are SO bright and creative and I want to be able to inspire them in creative and fun ways within my classroom walls. Bringing math and engineering to life is one way I can ensure a meaningful and exciting learning environment.
