Help me give my students a LEGO Coding Express Train to allow my youngest students (age 2 and up!) the chance to code hands on, screen-free! This will let them learn through play in a fun, interactive way!

My Students

My students come from primarily immigrant households and often have their first exposure to MANY learning experiences within our school--from playing with LEGOS to a trip to the Bronx Zoo.

My children are bright, motivated and hardworking.

They enjoy new experiences and are active explorers who want to discover the world around them and make sense of it!

Our immediate community is disadvantaged and we have few resources. They often have difficulty accessing the opportunities that others take for granted.

My Project

The LEGO Coding Express Train set will allow my youngest students (age 2 and up!) the chance to code hands-on, screen free in groups, stations or clubs!

My earliest learners will get to explore early coding concepts such as sequencing, looping and conditional coding, while developing problem solving skills, critical thinking, collaboration and social and emotional skills.

Help bring this into my classroom and bring the joy of fun, interactive learning to my budding coders! My preK to first graders will enjoy every moment working in teams to tackle the coding problems in this LEGO train set! Let's get started!
