Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students attend a school with a low socio-economic disadvantage. They are also English learners with a lot of potential but lack the resources to learn about alternative energies. These tools and materials are just a part of what they need to know about and build windmills. They will compete in local, regional, and world competitions in wind power. Your help will give our students the same competitive advantage as everyone who enters these competitions. Our students have the drive and determination to learn about alternative energies and believe they can be part of this field in the future. They range from grades 4-6. They have put in and are willing to put in countless hours after school to be able to compete. They are the future of renewable energy technologies and they look forward to engaging in these fields as adults. Thank you for your generosity.
