My Students
Welcome to our campus! Where creative learning is a must! Our students not only thrive on creativity, they seek it out.... in all sorts of places! Not just in the classroom! Our campus houses almost 800 students on two levels of our beautiful school. They are bright and smart learners who excel in seeing beyond the classroom doors for inspiration! They are continuously bringing me artwork that they have created at home and in other classes to show me their skills and how proud they are of what they create! Where will their creativity take them next??
My Project
Each year, our campus creates a completely different artistically created car for the Houston Art Car Parade! We are tying our theme this year, into the theme our PTA has picked for our campus wide theme of "In The Spotlight"! We will not only be creating elements to add to our art car this year, but painting designs on the car with talented 5th graders as well!
Movie themed decor will adorn our Art Car, creating memorable moments and award winning feelings for the students creating this monumentous masterpiece!
This is a once in a lifetime project for most students, and Id love for it to be so memorable for them. I think they ought to be in pictures!
