My Students

Welcome to our class!

The students at our school are creative, bright, fun, feisty, trailblazers.

While they are full of potential, life sometimes gets in the way. Our students deal with unimaginable obstacles. Purchasing supplies, completing assignments, finding transportation and even getting dressed in the morning causes our 14 to 17 year-olds unnecessary stress.

While these students fight to get to and participate in school everyday, they surprise their teachers with their resilience.

I am here to help. Sometimes all they need is a little bit of support from the teachers and the community.

My Project

My Freshman Student Government is working to engage the rest of the student body in a number of after school activities and an incentive program.

These little geniuses came up with a reward system just in time for the holidays!

Students will have the opportunity to earn tickets toward "shopping trips" and large raffle prizes by applying effort in classes.

We will also be holding our first student town hall meeting where the student government will use a raffle and pasta dinner as an incentive. These programs are designed to increase student attendance in after school activities like student government and study sessions.
