My Project

Learning outdoors has physical, social-emotional, and cognitive benefits for preschoolers. Playing outside helps children become healthy and strong while they run, climb, and build. It helps their social emotional skills by interacting with peers and learning how to take turn with equipment. The cognitive benefits include using their imaginations, applying what they learned in the classroom, and using problem solving skills. We are requesting a Mud Kitchen, Sand Play Construction Trucks, Sports Balls, a Storage Box to hold it all in and more.

The students in our classrooms may not spend time outside at home due to where they live or the schedules of their grown ups.

Therefore, we love to learn outside at school in all weather! Our students love playing and learning in our outdoor space and we would love to add to the fun with new supplies!
