My Students
My students sit in a classroom that is culturally balanced. My students come from various countries and speak various languages at home. The students in my class come from families that are struggling financially. The students attend a Title I school where funds are limited to purchase things that will enhance their learning outside of a textbook. The students in my class are hands-on learners, and learn better without a pencil in their hands. Many of my students also suffer from attention deficit disorder, in which distraction overrides their learning.
My Project
In today's classroom we are always being told what technology are you using and how are you involving the students, but that is not always easy with not have the correct technology or not having enough for your students.
We need six Zeepad tablets so that we can get rid of always doing worksheets and can become a paperless classroom.
I want my students to become the first class in their school to go paperless, and we can not do that without technology for each student to use. My students love to use the computer, especially since I introduced them to make their own computer codes.
Money is the hiccup that all teachers and classrooms run into. I want my students to be able to create video projects, turn in their classroom and collaborate with each other using technology.
