Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are more than where they come from or where they live. My students have more potential than I ever imagined my classroom would have.
They are dreamers, they are team players, they are hard-working, and more than any of those, they are inspiring.
Many of my students have hardworking parents who work late and many siblings to take care of before they even start to think about taking care of themselves. They are talented and motivated but just need a little more support to reach their full potential.
My Project
This project will reach the whole school! I wanted to make a space where kids can go and FREE build in the morning or afterschool and be able to build creatively without restrictions.
So much of school is focused on testing that I wanted to give them a space to be creative!
I want to create a lego wall that can be accessed through all grade levels and a safe space for students to go and show off their creativity. I am very excited to have a chance to bring this to our students!
