My Project

My amazing students come from all over the world and from all walks of life with different experiences. Over the years I have learned that many of them have never had the simple joy of flying a kite. So, I like to end the school year with a kite flying project by requesting kite kits and markers.

Students will learn about kites, design their own kites, and get to learn and practice flying them outside.

Finally, they get to bring their kite home and fly it as often as they want over the summer! The joy on their faces seeing them learn how to fly a kite of the first time is priceless!
