The beginning of the school year is an exciting time in kindergarten. For many of my young students, kindergarten is the first time that they have attended school. I love planning a variety of engaging activities as my students learn "how to do school."
I am requesting a variety of supplies that will help my kindergartners start the year with success.
The snacks will be offered to students who cannot bring a snack for our daily snack time. The badge clips and lamination will be used to created color coded name tags for the students. These name tags let all adults in the school know that they students are in kindergarten and which classroom they belong in. The students also use these name tags to get their free lunches and to check out books from our awesome school library. The golf pencils will be used by students throughout the year. Shorter pencils encourage students to use a correct pencil grip as they are improving their handwriting skills. The desk name tags include the numbers 0-20 and both uppercase and lowercase letters. This will help students as they practice writing both numbers and letters correctly. The floor number stickers will help students stand in line correctly when it is time to leave the classroom.
