My Students

My students are very curious about how things work. They want to know the why as well as the how. Often times they are using their Chromebooks to look up answers to their questions. We are in a good community of families, we have a large diverse backgrounds, income levels, family dynamics and many have had a wide range of trauma in their short lives. The come to school excited to learn and gain the opportunity to use the technology that they do not have at home.

My Project

Students will be able to have a virtual experience right in their classroom. Students will be able to use the virtual tools to go places that we study, like the rainforest, ocean, and grasslands.The students love their unit on different habitats, learn about the climate, different animals and plants in that environment. Also, with the covid pandemic we are not able to take field trips, this would provide some virtual learning of new and different places. The students will be able to learn about other places around the world right in their classroom.
