My Students
I encourage the children I teach to develop a think outside the box mindset, which allows creativity to guide their thinking. Students at my school are curious about the world around them. They are interested in seeking out the answers to their questions by participating in unique learning opportunities. The lessons that the children enjoy most include hands-on activities, which provide memorable, educational experiences and help to create a love of learning.
Students at my school aspire to be world changers and inspire others to contribute positive qualities that add to our school community.
My Project
I love to engage my students in unique and memorable ways. My plan is to have students apply their knowledge of math and language arts concepts in a classroom that has been transformed! The glow materials (glow sticks, glow paint, glow decorations) will be used to decorate the classroom and reward the students for all of their hard work and effort. The glow day will be an exciting opportunity for the students to apply and demonstrate their knowledge in ways that they normally would not. I find that when I can make learning fun and and feel like it's a game, that students are so much invested in the lessons and activities.
