My Students

I have been a teacher for 15 years now. This year is my fourth year as a third-grade teacher. I am excited for this school year. My class is a pleasure. They are so well behaved and well mannered. I have a class of 22 students, many of them receive ELL services, Basic Skills, and Resource support. I have push-in support during my literacy and math block to help with my ELL learners. This will be a year of challenge, but also one of learning and excitement for us.

My Project

Light it up in the classroom for some fun learning and excitement! I would love to purchase this black light tape, finger lights and highlighters. How much fun would it be to learn and practice what has been taught in the dark?! I am planning on using this as a way to help my students in math with area and perimeter, and in language arts for sight words and vocabulary word practice. As I continue on throughout my year, I am sure I can come up with new ways to use this fun learning style! I am sure this will be amazing. I can’t wait to see my students engaged and motivated.
