it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class loves to host kindergarten reading buddy literacy activities in our classroom. We are always looking for fun ways to engage the younger students in our school community with shared reading opportunities with the older students. We look forward to creating a glow-in-the-dark experience for our next reading event. These glow-in-the-dark materials will help us create glow centers for students to participate in various literacy-building activities while allowing us to support members of our school community by fostering a positive connection between the fifth-grade students and kindergarten students. Students will read multiple texts together and participate in literacy activities found utilizing the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card. They will use the glow-in-the-dark highlighters to show their learning and share ideas.
