Let's Glaze Ceramics!

Help me give my students some ceramic glaze. When arriving at my school, there is a kiln, but no ceramic glaze at all.

My Students

The students are excited to learn new ways to create artwork through their imaginative eyes. In my classes, I have a variety of students at all different levels with the eagerness to learn.

My class are filled to almost 36 students with 6 classes, and want to give them more material to work within the classroom that can't all be covered by the classroom.

My school is in Sparks, NV with a variety of economic levels, and with the coming back from being in a hybrid situation last year, I want to give my students inspiration to be creative and use their imaginations.

My Project

In art, there are the Elements of Design. To learn one of these elements, Shape, and also the history behind ceramics, one needs to have supplies. When I arrived at my school, there is a kiln with no glaze to paint the ceramics. I want to teach and have the students be able to express themselves with all the elements and appreciate those who do it professionally. Ceramics will cover the following standards: Creating: Conceiving and developing new artistic ideas and work. VA:Cr2.7.1, VA:Cr2.7.3. 4. Select, analyze, and interpret artistic work for presentation:VA:Pr5.7.1. Please help give the my classroom the supplies for a full ceramic lesson.
