My Project
I've been dreaming of providing a trampoline for some of my autistic students to release their tension. It will help them relax and reset the feeling of frustration in the classroom. The bean bag will provide my ASD and autistic students with a calming bag to sit down in when they deserve to have a break time and a restful break from the tension. The fidget toys and chewing necklaces are for my students with sensory needs. It will help them to replace inappropriate behavior that can stimulate the mouth from chewing objects. It is safer for biting and avoiding accidents.
Your donations to fund my project will help me provide furniture and materials to support my special needs students in having a relaxing and motivating learning experience.
In my Multi-level classroom, I have some students who are non-verbal. They become frustrated when they can’t communicate their wants. The adapted communication device will help them to have a way to express their need. It will be a helpful device to aid with their communication. The resources we tried were not durable to last longer.
The learning materials we are requesting are too pricey for a teacher to shoulder. I believe that with your donations, this dream to provide the students with learning difficulties will come to a reality.
