This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
They need activities that they can do in small groups. We need pencils and a sharpener for our classroom. It's important to write everyday to increase our skills.
My students are English Learners who come from an area of low income.
Many of them have special needs. All students, regardless of income deserve a variety of activities to make learning English fun.
The budget for classrooms was cut. Most students do not have the money to buy their own writing materials. Each of my students needs a pencil to complete their work. We can develop better writers, speakers, listeners, and lifelong learners.
