My Students
I teach 2nd grade at a K-10 charter school that is dedicated to preparing all of our students for college and career. My students are an amazing group of second graders, who are excited about learning and growing. My students are avid readers and love to read and listen to books being read to them. These second graders come from all walks of life and strive to work as hard as they can to be successful in school and life.
My Project
The LEGO StoryStarter Core kit will be such an amazing resource for my students. This resource will allow my students who struggle to get their writing starting by allowing them to create a scene which they can use to start their writing. This kit will bring out the imagination of my students and help them to improve their writing.
As my students are able to bring out their imagination more with the Lego pieces their writing will improve.
My struggling writers will be able to use the pieces to help get them started and writing amazing pieces. This kit will truly help change writing for so many of my students.
