it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Let's get the year started off on the right foot by supplying the students with the little things that nobody thinks about. I want to get things for the students that will make their transition into third grade easy such as headphones and expo markers that will make learning easier for them. I would like to give each student a copy of the book Because of Winn-Dixie and Chocolate Fever. I would like to provide them with two writing journals: a small moment and a big writing journal. I would also like for them to never have to worry about having a pencil in class. I want to have pencils readily available to my students. These items, plus the other items on my list will help make a smooth transition for my new 3rd graders.
