My Project

Our library is a learning hub in our small, rural school of about 350 students. Here they are exposed to a variety of books, technology, storytimes, activities, and resources to encourage their diverse interests. They are daily requesting more and newer books for storytimes and checkout in our library! When I can fill their specific requests, their excitement for reading grows and they become more motivated to read and become better readers!

My students need these rythymn sticks, sensory play kits, and pretend play tools & books to help make story times come alive!

They love to move and create during our time together and ask me daily for more props, activities, and books for story times that are not broken, older, dingy, or worn out and torn. They deserve the newest and most fun and engaging music makers, pretend play, and sensory objects to help engage and ignite their excitement for reading and learning to read!
