This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from predominately low-income families who work hard to help their children succeed. We will be beginning a new unit of study called, "Balls" with little or no materials to support the unit. By using different sized and shaped balls and sheres they will begin to learn about ramps, motion and speed. We will use the balls to roll, sort and experiment with in our Science center. They will also use some of the materials to learn how to sort objects by size and color.
By getting the "Ball Rolling" in my Pre-K classroom my students will be learning science concepts in a fun and hands on way.
