Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of these materials will help students expand their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills and will allow my students to participate in ELLevation strategies. These strategies will allow my English learner students to grow in and develop their language skills. My school has a big focus on supporting English learners and using GLAD strategies, and these materials will allow me to use more GLAD strategies in my classroom.
These items will enhance our learning environment by encouraging teamwork, speaking, and listening among students in my classroom.
All kindergarten-age students are learning speaking and listening skills and these materials will allow students to explore their creativity and imagination while learning these skills. My students are the future voices of the world, so it is important they learn to speak up, collaborate, work together, and cooperate.
