This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am reaching out on behalf of our bilingual integrated Pre-K classroom in a Title I school where many of our students face economic challenges but arrive each day with incredible potential and eagerness to learn. Our students face unique developmental and linguistic challenges, and they thrive best with tools that make learning accessible, engaging, and interactive.
Our classroom also serves a diverse group of early learners, many of whom are dual-language students developing critical skills in both English and their home language.
A smart board would be a transformative tool for us—enhancing interactive learning, supporting differentiated instruction, and engaging students through visual and kinesthetic activities that meet their unique developmental needs. It can also help us deliver visual, auditory, and tactile instruction that meets diverse learning needs and supports both language development and individualized education plans (IEPs).
