Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a first-year teacher, straight out of college and I have just begun in my very first classroom! All of these items listed in my project will help my students and myself get settled into the year!
The doorbell and the visual timers will help my students transition from one activity to the next and will be able to show students exactly how much time is left to complete a task as well as how they will know to move on!
The chair storage pockets are my biggest ask. In my classroom, there are no individual desks for students, instead, we have large tables which means there is a lot less storage for students to keep all of their school supplies. These storage pockets will help solve this problem, keep students' books and supplies close by, and be easy access for each of them! The storage pockets will also help my students keep their belongings organized and make changing seating seamless and stress-free!
