My Project
Hi! My name is Ms. Marie and I am a 6:1:1 D75 Special Education teacher, who services students six amazing students on the Autism Spectrum. My students are young adults, between the ages of 18 to 20, and often find it difficult to remain comfortable given the constraints of traditional student chairs and desks. My ultimate goal is to eventually provide flexible seating and larger, more comfortable desks to support all six students in my classroom.
Due to sensory needs, my students require larger desks and flexible seating in order to remain on-task and engaged in instruction throughout the day.
Students will be able to remain self-regulated and engaged with the Flex-Space Ergo Bounce Cantilever Chairs. My students can bounce, rock and sit more comfortably during academic and vocational instruction given the abilities of these Cantilever Chairs. The Traditional Study Top desks will allow my young adults to sit at their desks comfortably and with ease.
