My Project
The resources for this project will directly assist my students with special needs in sensory regulation to improve their social-emotional and academic learning impacted by COVID-19. I will provide my students with compression vests, flexible seating options, and other sensory and fine motor accommodations to improve their independence with self-care and fine motor tasks in the school environment. These wiggle seats, weighted blankets, built-up feeding utensils, and other special accommodations will help my students stay calm, cool, and collected and will increase their focus, access, participation, and confidence at school.
