Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These books, plush characters, writing materials, and literacy and mathematics activities/materials will give me the opportunity to have the classroom ready for my students as we start of the upcoming year. I will be switching grades and knowing that I will have a new group of student, I would love to provide them with a fun, engaging and organized classroom that would be ready for them to learn. Having a few materials that will help my students grasp their interest and make an exciting connection with the world around them is my main goal.

Giving my students necessary materials, such as books and their favorite characters, working materials, and classroom organization will give my students the opportunity to maximize their learning and create a safe, enthusiastic environment.

Each year my students love to walk in a classroom full of materials that they recognize and are excited to be a part of as they take ownership of the shared community. With your help my students will be able to experience that again and be a part of something amazing!
