My Project

Organized supplies are a tremendous support to students within the classroom. It allows students to know what will be readily available to them and it supports their independence in learning how to apply a variety of strategies. Providing mirrors, dry erase wipes and timers, along with other objects to enhance their learning, fosters student self awareness of how they learn best.

Baskets replete with frequently used objects to augment learning strategies are a boon to the individual student's ability to support their own learning.

Having a variety of scaffolds on student tables encourages students to use what they need, when they need it. They do not need to wait for the teacher nor do they call attention to themselves.

The mirrors, wipes, timers, fidget toys and desk leg bands will help my students develop trust in their own learning process in addition to building their stamina by staying on task.
