My Project
My cart is a fun mix of everything that I need for the new year! The biggest purchase are the leveled reading books. I have focused my attention on same different levels, all of course first grade. It is so important kids have fun reading, and having (lots of) books in the classroom will certainly be a great first step!
You will also see some math and literacy toys, which will enhance the hands-on learning classroom that I am creating this year.
These games are in line with the core standards for the school year, and will help my students see the curriculum in a different light. Learning from peers is important, and these games are adding fun to that mix! Research shows, that subjects taught in different concepts will lead to better comprehension of the subject. The math game where kids can tap, or the literacy game where kids have to be the first one to find the sight word, will all help these kids in enjoying their learning journey!
Lastly, I have added some organizations and classroom tools, like bins for all the toys and books that hopefully will get funded with this project. Thank you for supporting my classroom!
