Help me give my students a brand new library to organize all the varieties of book titles and the writing center caddies to help organize their tools to better respond to literature.
Every morning, my culturally diverse class of students come into their classroom with both a positive growth mindset and a drive to push themselves to be the best they can be, regardless of the curriculum being taught. By the end of this school year, I embrace the hope and vision that all of my students will be more informed in all areas of the 1st-grade curriculum and utilize that knowledge in their future academic endeavors.
My goal is to facilitate students in developing the skills necessary to be critical thinkers and successful problem-solvers, in all areas of the curriculum.
My students demonstrate a passion for learning new things and enjoy hands-on engagement with fun, interactive, new materials within the classroom that are well organized and applicable to the content being taught.
Our school has a very diverse population of students who demonstrate a positive attitude about learning each and every day. This positive attitude is made possible by creating a safe and organized environment for every child and providing them with the resources to explore, problem-solve, and apply the knowledge they have acquired throughout the year.
My Project
Our class was fortunate to receive lots and lots of new books for our reading library. The only problem is where do we put them and how do we organize them? With the new storage containers, we would be well on our way.
The writing storage caddies will be used to organize all of our pens, pencils, markers, and colored pencils to motivate us to respond to the new literature in our classroom library.
With an area to house our supplies, writing and creating illustrations will be a blast!
Organization is key when you feel inspired. With the new library storage bins and the writing center caddies, we will have no problem getting motivated to delve right into learning and sharing our ideas with others.
