Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The majority of our students come from apartment complexes across the street. We do not have a park where the students can safely walk to and play. Very few of them have a place where they can go to and run around and play. I am asking for these physical education equipment, so that my students are able exercise and play.

My goal is to be able to implement the sports that they enjoy playing.

This will help so many of my students get some physical activity. Our community has a large problem with overweight children. I believe that the lack of physical mobility plays a large part in this.

My students are the most resilient people I know. Through adversity and challenges that I can only imagine, they continue to persevere with a smile on their face.
