Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class is in need of new PE equipment so that all students can be involved in active play. Our limited playground equipment is not sufficient to have activities where students can practice dribbling or throwing skills at the same time. Currently, a few students can practice while the rest of the class waits for their turn. I think that is not sufficient use of their time, and they could benefit from more equipment.
Students nowadays have limited physical play time at home, and I think that getting the most out of our PE time with the right equipment would helps students create endorphins and create enhanced cognitive and social skills.
