My Project

This project will benefit every grade level at our school, which makes it very special to me. I know PE class is a popular class for many students during the elementary school years. With that in mind, I want to make it as special as possible. This is the class that helps students get out their energy, gets them up and moving the most, and can work on many other skills as well, such as team work, collaboration, and so much more!

This project is requesting hula hoops and two sets of soft foam balls to be reused year after year during all students' PE classes.

I love to help students work on academic and non-academic skills while they are in my care. As our school's PE teacher, it is my job to provide students with an outlet to work on both fine and gross motor skills, possibly integrate some academic review whenever possible from their general education classroom, and even work on other concepts such as social-emotional learning, team work, communication, and so much more. Hula hoops and these soft balls can be used in a multitude of ways each day to help students learn and have fun. I love the versatility and functionality of both of these items. With your support, I will be able to help over 600 students that cover a range of grades and abilities each school day through these items. What an exciting way to come back and celebrate the Lunar New Year with all of these wonderful new PE equipment pieces. Thank you for your time and support. Happy Holidays!
