My Students

My students are so smart and creative. I teach at a Title One school. Many students receive free breakfast and lunch. Their families are barely getting by and cannot afford school supplies for the classroom. These students love to learn. I want to help them reach their goals and build the confidence needed for an amazing future. My school is rated a "B." I want to help my school become an "A" by giving my students resources to increase their math skills.

My Project

Many of my students spend time entertaining themselves on a computer or smartphone. Some students only play games online or on their game system.

I want my students to break the ice and socialize during their indoor recess time by playing board games with each other.

By playing board games, my students can learn important social skills while having fun.

I want to teach my students positive ways to interact with each other. By utilizing board games, I can show my students how to follow directions and wait their turn. Students can learn how to win and lose gracefully.
