My Students

My students are future scientists, teachers, doctors, nurses, fire fighters, lawyers, and most importantly life long learners!

They come from diverse backgrounds, so we are busy learning math, science, reading, writing, and social studies along with character education and celebrating what makes each student special.

The students in my class are a family, we celebrate together and learn about each other's traditions.

My students love to work in groups and with partners and love to share their learning with anyone who will listen. My students are unstoppable and they deserve the best.

My Project

Coding and programming are a vital part of our world today, but most elementary students have never been exposed to it I want to change that by providing my students with Botley the Coding Robot in my room.

Coding and programming in the elementary classroom is fun and engaging, but it also creates a spark for students to dive deeper and explore future careers.

An an educator, I have been tasked with training students to work in job fields that have not been created yet. It is a daunting but exciting experience and one that I do not take lightly. Using Botley will be a great way to incorporate coding and introduce them to this ever growing field
