My Project
The use of clear sleeves, pencils, pens, bins, and labels are used daily in my classroom, especially for ACT exam drills. Using a true model of test questions, my students have copies of guided practices placed in the sleeves with testing strategies. The pencils and pens allow them to see exactly what they are doing on scratch paper and provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. What becomes a problem is the fact that cell phone usage is at an all-time high, so to eliminate this distraction, students are advised to place labels on their phones and into the bins. Even though they are great about doing this, it is distracting for many of my students who have focusing issues, and they miss important instruction from either myself or other students. So, by having all of these supplies, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning!
