it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of computer paper, mechanical pencils, and glue sticks are daily materials used in our classroom. Especially in math, we are constantly solving problems and differentiated math worksheets in our classroom. Using the workshop model in math, students come to the rug with their daily math handouts for guided practice and to record modeled strategies. Differentiated math worksheets allow me to see exactly what students are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
With these new book bins, my students will be able to choose from a variety of math games at different levels that will allow them to work in partnerships, in small groups, and independently at their own grade level.
Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not have to worry if there is a lack of materials.
