My love of reading is something I want to instill in my students. I am compelled to ensure that my students love reading and can share their love of reading with others. The books I have selected are from my students' interests. These books will help to promote reading over the school year and make sure that they are reading at home. I would like to have an extensive collection of books, which hold onto their interests and make sure that they will continue reading. Helping students begin to learn that reading is fun is a perfect way to build better readers. These books are a gateway to better reading skills for reluctant readers. When children are excited about books in their hands, they are much more determined to read for pleasure, information, instructions, and connecting with others.
