This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a teacher in a low-income high poverty school district, my students are faced with several obstacles both in and out of the classroom. Many of my students have parents that work 2 or more jobs. I believe that having a positive relationship with each family is vital for a student to succeed. I love to see my students smile when they have successes, nothing else compares to that feeling. My students will change the world!
My Project
Organization skills are so important! Our school prides itself in getting our students college and career ready. Part of that is teaching students how to be organized so that they can be successful! Organization keeps the family involved more as well because students will not lose their papers. Our Eagles are college bound and they will succeed in any career of their choice! It is never too early to start teaching life skills. Please help my students get mailboxes and binders. An organized classroom is student friendly, and promotes success.
