This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I will be teaching 3rd and 4th grade special education this year for the first time. I will have about 25 students of varying needs and academic abilities. This is a group of fun loving young individuals with great personalities and loving spirits.
Throughout the year we will build a sense of community so that each of my students know that they are valued and able to express the amazing person they truly are.
They will know that they are loved!
My Project
This storage center will be placed in a third and fourth grade special education classroom where the needs of each student will vary. Daily student work will be placed in these bins. They will be labeled with the student's name and will contain any individualized work that the students may need to practice or complete based on their specific needs. Students will be able to go pull their bin daily and complete any work or assessments that will be made available for them and they can easily return them and all of their materials when they finish. As we establish routines this storage center will be a great help.
