My Students

My students inspire me daily with their kindness and eagerness to learn. Our elementary school is a large school of almost 1,000 students, but we have the intimate feel of a small school. My students come to me from various backgrounds, each bringing their own unique experiences to the classroom. The one thing they all bring, however, is their love of a great book! They are eager to read when they have quality book choices that are of high interest.

My students are also curious, always asking questions and making wonderings.

I love to provide my students with hands-on learning experiences to feed their curiosity. My students amaze me with their questions, critical thinking, and application in these inquiry-based learning experiences.

My Project

This project will help my class begin the year in an effective, organized way to set the tone for our reader's and writer's workshop for the entire year. The stackable letter trays will hold paper and assignments while the magnetic folder bins will house our writer's workshop materials. The Rocketbook and planner will help me to organize conferring notes to help further develop my readers and writers.

These engaging and effective organizational tools will set our class up for a successful year together.

Having these materials as we start the year will help us to get into routines which will help us maximize our time learning together!
