Let's Get Organized!

My students need some basic organizing materials. The art room is a classroom that hosts multiple grade levels and the more organized our classroom is, the more successful and productive we we become.

My Students

My STEM Magnet Academy students are motivated, inspired, creative and hardworking students from all over the city of Chicago. They come from diverse backgrounds which allows them to learn and grow from each other. My STEM students are open minded, compassionate, passionate students who are ready to try all forms of art in my classroom.

My STEM students surprise and amaze me each and every day.

I am truly lucky to teach little artists about art forms, techniques and artists at STEM Magnet Academy.

My Project

We are so excited to get our STEM K-5 art room organized!

We have wonderful art books and drawing books, but our book shelves are broken.

Our students share lots of fabulous materials, but our bins are cracked and falling apart. We have developed an inspirational art map but don't have cork on the wall to keep it up more permanently. We have our mini lessons on the floor and with almost 400 students sharing the same space, our kids need a carpet that helps them get organized when entering the art room.

They need a carpet that helps them find their own space to become more active listeners and successful participants at the beginning of class.

Thank you so much for helping us get organized! Our STEM students will greatly benefit from your donations and our K-5 art room will be ready to start a exciting new school year in September.
